The Expressive Photographic Landscape is a thoughtfully crafted video series by photographer and educator Eddie Soloway, that I directed, filmed and edited. Comprising 35 in-the-field videos, the series is designed to help photographers transcend the purely representational—guiding them toward making imagery that is personal, evocative, and expressive rather than just a straightforward depiction of a scene.

The series isn’t about replicating what’s in front of the lens—but about drawing out what’s within you. It invites you to “express more than the scene in front of you” and create photographs that resonate with your personal vision.
