Missed Connections

I slipped in Jeremy Caplan’s class yesterday at CUNY Grad School of Journalism and he was discussing an old Poynter.org post titled: What 15 Journalists took home from South by Southwest a.k.a SXSW.

There was this this illustration by Betsy Hubbard, based on a seminar she attended with Dan Roam.

Wow!

I think it’s clear that many people running newspapers have never seen this chart, or really thought about the way we get out information on the web. But I sometimes wonder if the powers that be at Journalism Schools have ever seen this chart?
